Well, nearly recovered from the weekend.... Not sure if it's the age, or the alcohol.....
In other news, it's official. The Wormy Dog has a "groupie"! Apparently, there is a female patron who has made it her mission to hook-up with as many of the male staff as possible. Last weekend, she made quite a dent, and this week she was back for more! Now, I've promised not to disclose any names (unless I'm forced to), but apparently there is some video evidence floating around.... I've seen it. It isn't pretty...... Some of you should be very ashamed of yourselves!
Speaking of being ashamed, what is it with the women's restroom? I think they must be putting Spainish Fly in the air freshener in there.... Maybe Kaci should double-check that the next time she's changing those out???
Here's a big thank you to all of our politician friends who stopped in this weekend! It's kind of nice to see Republicans and Democrats agree on something (that would be that they all enjoy the Wormy Dog for some of you slower thinking people, Drunk Cameraman).
Now that we have the important stuff out of the way, don't forget about the big weekend! We've got Family Jam and McClure's CD release party on the same night! Get out and support our bosses at the Zoo on Friday, then follow their bus down to Bricktown for the Mike McClure "official" CD release party!!! Saturday is local favs Badwater, and Sunday is our little effort to help those in the Gulf Coast with the Wormy Dog Saloon's Hurricane Katrina relief concert, brought to you by Cody "Big Silk" Malone! It's featuring the Bleu Edmondson Band, Macon Greyson, Texas Jack, Johnny Cooper, and Camille Harp (think I caught it all). I believe there will free beer too, and it's all for a great cause! Last I heard, all the proceeds are headed to the First Baptist Church in Mobile, AL. You can call in sick on Monday, after all, you'll be doing it for a good cause!
This weekend turned out really good! Wade put on a great show, but the real show was later on when he helped "Ragweed" film some video for our website. I could go into more detail, but I think it will be much funnier if I just wait until you can see it for yourself! Chris Knight put on a great show as well, and I would suspect you'll be seeing him again too.
Still working on photos for the blog... Hope to have that up and running soon, and don't forget to keep your eyes open for our exclusive interview with "Ragweed"! Brought to you by all of your friends at the Wormy Dog Saloon!
