T-ville, Stoney, No Justice, lots of drinks...

If you have noticed when I post blogs, I like to post some pics to go along with them. Apparently there is a software/comp problem that was keeping me from playing around with things, anyway it took longer than expected but here are a few things that I must mention before I forget. Last Weds was Travis Linville. Enough said. T-ville put on one hell of a show and I still think he is one of the best singer/songwriter/musicians I have ever seen in person. If you've never seen him, I will just say that his are the cd's that other bands listen to when they are driving in the car. I know this for a fact. Later in the night Stoney Larue and the fellas stopped in for a drink and to see Travis finish the show and a little bit off hell was raised. I don't remember why the camera was brought out (upon request I might add), but I did end up documenting a "crushed red peppers" eating contest. I think Stoney owes The Big Silk a pizza next time, no Big Silk tells me he defenitely owes him a pizza. I also think they managed to kidnap Ragen for thier after hours festivities. I also learned that "Nancy" was named after Coop's mother, small world and I love the Red Dirt Rangers, how cool I had no idea. I was back on Friday for No Justice and Jon Wolfe. George Strait played at the Ford center and the Wormy Dog was more than packed. I want to officially challenge Jon Wolfe and his boys to stay for more than a couple hours next time they roll through town and drink with us. We know from past experiences that they can belly up, but they better bring the responsible Trey with them to drive them back to Texas. No Justice played a hell of a show, Congrats to Steve and Kim Rice I had no Idea that they had had a baby since the last time I saw them. I'm not really sure why I dont remember things accurately (I think the Drunk part of Drunk Cameraman has to do with it), but I was going to quote Steve Rice on the blog but the only part of the sentence I remember was "sh*t" or "sh*t man..." or something to that effect and the rest fell on drunk ears. Go Figure. Honeybrowne was the next night and there were some hott and I mean HOTT women out on the town. I think they like the way Fred sings or something. Our girls from Ponca City even drove down to party with us. Always a good time and always good music from them. Monday we all know was when we were suppossed to have Pat Green back and inside at that, but for whatever reason he didnt get back to playing from his injury until his next show. Oh well, maybe next time around. Johnny Cooper played acoustic last night and will be back Sat with full band to open for Mac if you missed him. I compliment the guy on his song choices. Never hurts to hear some Petty, Lang, or Black Crowes, and Brandon Jenkins tunes never get old. I would suggest leaving the comedy off the stage, bad jokes man bad jokes. J/K. Johnny even brought in the ladies, happy birthday to the b-day girl, and tell your friends to come back, we didnt get a chance to get acquainted. As a word of advice, don't wear huge hoop earrings around Big Silk. He will tell you a story or two about 'Jersey. Well I just realized what time it is and I needed to be at the dog about 5 mins ago. Randy Rogers on a Thursday leads to HANGOVERS FOR EVERYONE on Friday morning, but I think everyone can handle clocking in and "myspacing" with a hangover. I know that's all you 9-5'ers do anyway. Until later CHEERS
