Well I knew what was in store for the "Bo Show", but I did not however expect some of the extras that were part of the evening. I didn't know that there was an opener, but to my suprise the guys from the "Bart Crow Band" were good and I was glad I got there early enough to catch them. I'd check them out if you get the chance, thier songs and harmony sounded good acoustically, if anyone has heard them with thier full band let me know, I'd be interested in hearing some opinions. When those guys were done, the "Bo Show" started. It makes me think of a cartoon happy hour or some clowns and jugglers, but he is a solid entertainer nonetheless. If you don't know Bo (and I know not everyone does because I had a girl lean over to me and say "I dont know if its his eyes, but he looks alot like Stoney") well he is Stoney's brother and can grab a crowd, no matter the size, in it's entirety. I thoroughly enjoy hearing him play, his originals are cool and his covers are crazy. Ive heard "Gin and Juice" plenty of times, but never with some "get low, holla back girl, used to be" and whatever other songs were in the middle of it. Speaking of never hearing things, I dont think I've even remotely thought of hearing some cheerleaders cheering "who rocks the house, Bo rocks the house". All I can say to that is... WOW. Oh and remember Bo, The Drunk Cameraman is just one of those things like Santa Clause, the Toothfairy, Eater Bunny, etc.. Anyway he played with my "myspace friend" Greg Reichel, who I had never seen play live before. Ive heard alot about him playing, never had the chance to see for myself but now that I have I was defenitely impressed. His songs are defenitely real, and I can't say anything but good things about a guy that will play "Theres something happening here". I would check him out anytime you get the chance. I also ran across another cool site to check out www.tossmmusic.com, it has alot of musical stuff on there, kinda cool check it out too. Apparently there was some kind of stare down/table knocked over incident that led to some guy being asked to leave, but it all happened so fast I went to the restroom for a second and missed the whole thing. One thing I did not miss though was the door guy Matt being bitten. I won't say anything else due to the fact that he had to go home and explain bite marks to his fiance already. I hope it went well buddy. I also need to mention a Happy Birthday to Seth, oh and don't forget to drink lots of water tom because starting tom night its another fun filled weekend at the Dog with Wade Bowen on Fri and Bleu Edmondson on Sat. and the drinks will be flowing like the music DJ Phil will be playing for all the ladies that are out for ladies night tonight. I will defenitely be there to see the sights, drink the drinks, and I even have heard rumors that "Chuckie T" might be out for a cold one, knowing him, it might turn into cold two, three, or twelve before he tells us how early he has to work in the morning before disappearing into the night. See you there
