Sorry it took awhile for Vinny to review the Macon Greyson show. He's been a little under the weather as of late. Musta caught something at the Deli in Norman. Those Big Red cups are a good deal, but... Vinny's not so sure his cup was in the hot water and bubbles long enough..... anywho, after two nites in a row of the Jug Band, Vinny went out for the third nite in a row this past Saturday nite to check out Macon Greyson. Needless to say, Vinny was dragging ass from a 2 nite hangover and the bug he caught Thursday nite. Vinny and crew arrived at the Shark table around 9pm and slowly nursed a couple buckets with Brian and Butch. Buddy Huffman arrived around 10 and came over and introduced himself to the Shark. Buddy is one cool dude right there and one of the better frontmen in the business. Never a dull moment listening to him go off on any subject he might come up with off the top of his head or while he's doing his thing belting out the lyrics to his songs.. He tells it like it is and the Shark respects that. So, the show kicks off around 11 pm or so and just like the last time Vinny saw MG, they rocked it out, especially when they got into "Save Us All", which was right about the time Big Silk came by with some Jager Bombs. Suddenly the bug seemed to go away for awhile and it was "on" for the rest of the nite and the "Blah, Blah, Blah" song was especially tight and got the fins moving. The crowd was a bit smaller than the nite before, but they still got into it pretty good. Vinny's pretty sure Buddy had to have noticed those 3 hotties up in front of the stage on the left side. They began the nite at the North end of the Shark table and then moved their way on to the dance floor. Carmen Electra Lite (who was chosen as Vinny's fan of the nite) and the other two. Damn!! That's one sure thing about the Wormy Dog.... always some great talent in attendance. Needless to say, the 3 fine ladies at the South end of the Shark table are hot themselves....
Yep, it was a damn fine time once again. If you haven't seen Macon Greyson yet, do yourself a favor. They are one of the better bands that graces the carpet at 311 E. Sheridan. Badger, it was nice meeting you too bro. Vinny will see ya'll once again when you roll thru this fine town affectionately known as "Ciudad de Oklahoma". Have a nice Ragweed Day.
