Sorry it's been awhile since Vinny's last review. Got kinda lazy on this. Well, that and Vinny's been to only two shows in the past month. Let Vinny backtrack for a moment and comment on the Jason Boland/Badwater show a few weeks ago. Jason sounded great. Crowd was very much in to it and the floor was jam packed with people. Word to the wise... get your tix online or you're gonna be waiting out on the street for shows like this....Vinny got there around 8 and almost all the seats were already taken. Vinny found himself a spot on the left side next to the screen upstairs. From what Vinny could hear from there, he was impressed with. As stated before, Jason was on it that nite. Moving forward to this past Saturday... Vinny took in opening nite of the Yard Dawgz. So, by the time he got to the Wormy at around 10:30, he was already feeling no pain. Thankfully, Mrs. Shark and Jerri and Brian got there (kinda early) and found some seats and a table, (This time on the right side of the video screen). Wow, another full house bursting with energy when Shooter hit the stage. Vinny was highly impressed by what he remembers of the show (damn Jager)... Shooter sounded great, his band was very good as well. Good to see some familiar faces in the crowd too. Vinny had to make his way down by Table Zero for a little bit to get a better listen to Shooter. Of course, "Fourth of July" was the crowd favorite. All in all, from what Vinny can remember (damn Jager).. it was a great show. This Saturday is Vinny's favorite Texas band, the Randy Rogers Band. Get your butt down here if you've never seen him. Get your butt down here anyways. It's gonna be a great show and a great party. Vinny guarantees it.
