New Year's Eve and Hangover Ball

Yeah, this is 3 weeks late, but Vinny took off for a week in San Antonio right after Hangover Ball and then OKC got pelted with an ice storm that kept the kids out of school for another week, so this is the first time Vinny's been able to get on here..... So, New Year's Eve. Where does Vinny begin with this one? Cross Canadian Ragweed at the Wormy Dog on New Year's Eve. Damn, what better way to ring in the new year than them, Stoney and Micky and The Motorcars?? It was well worth being crammed in to the tiny corner by the speakers and Table Zero. Everyone kicked ass that nite, especially Stoney. It was good seeing alot of people Vinny has met over the years out for this show. It was one big party for sure. Butterball, dude.. you are an effin rock star!!! You had all the women checking you out up there in front headbanging to Stoney and CCR. Good stuff brother, good stuff. Ragweed kicked that ass as usual. Was good seeing them at the Wormy Dog again. If Vinny's not mistaken, that was the first time since their Garage release party in 2005. Great to have you guys back home!!........... Hangover Ball was alot less crazy, but it was a fantastic show as well. Darren Kozelsky, Randy Rogers, Wade Bowen and Brandon Rhyder kicked off the first half of the show around 830 or so. Darren was a trip. You could tell he was having a great time. Randy... well, he looked a bit hung over, lol. But, he tore it up as usual as did Wade and Rhyder. After a brief intermission, Cody, Boland, and Stoney took the stage. Cody said he had a rough nite the nite before, but he was a trooper and hung in there. They played a little bit of everything, including Needle and The Damage Done. Thanks Cody. That was cool. Like Vinny said earlier, it was alot more subdued for HOB, which was pretty much what everyone needed after that friggin mass of a party the nite before. Good times as usual. Randy Rogers Band tonite!!!!!! BE THERE!!
