Okay, so this was one crazy nite. Why... you ask? Because... it just was. The Sharks arrived around 8:30. Got a few tables right there in front of the DJ booth and commenced to drinking dollar Bud Lights. Close to 10 o'clock a bunch of really cool folks started rolling in. Bri (like the Cheese) from Manhattan, Kansas. Robin from Topeka. Hopp and Deb from Bartlesville. Kandi from Missouri. Red from DFW. CBail from the Plano area. Romy, Sunnydays and of course Butterball and Sean were there as well. You see, this was the first time for Vinny and Mrs. Shark meeting most of these people, but it was kinda like they had known them forever. It's pretty wild like that. Might sound kinda silly to most of you who might be reading this and it's kinda hard to explain it, but this music kinda brings folks together from all over, and this nite, it just so happened to be at the Wormy Dog, in Bricktown Oklahoma.
So, anyways, the Ryan Bales Band hit the stage around 11. Vinny can't tell you what songs they played except for the opening song "Midnight Rider". The crowd was in to them. It wasn't THAT crowded for a Saturday nite, but those who were there seemed to enjoy the show. So, after consuming numerous Jager Bombs and beer, Vinny clocked himself out around 1 A.M. Apparently, from the many pictures Vinny has seen from the above people, everyone had a great time. Some of ya'll are some ummmm really good dancers. Yeah... that's it. This was one of those memorable nites, just hanging out, shooting the #### with people Vinny doesn't get to see much except for occasions like this and just having a damn good time. Like Vinny said earlier, it's kinda hard to explain. You just gotta experience it for yourself to understand. Thanks Wormy Dog for doing what ya'll do. Downtown would be a snoozer without it. . There's 4 nites of live music at the WD this week, so get out and support live music in OKC.
